Funny Avery Story!

This actually happened last week, but it is too funny not to share! Avery has a new teacher in her room as of last week. She has been at the center before, so I know her. She asked Avery where in the world she got her red hair from since her Mama had dirty blonde hair? Both teachers told me that Avery hopped up & ran across the room & said "My Mama is not a dirty Mama. She is a clean Mama. You have a dirty Mama"! So proud of my fiesty red head for taking up for me! lol. At least somebody has my back.

Hudson's 5th Birthday Party

We celebrated Hudson's 5th birthday this year at Jumpin Jupiter in Bossier. He actually turns 5 next Sunday on Easter Day, so we had his party a week early. Words can't even begin to describe how fast the last 5 years have passed us by. Hudson has been such a blessing to us! He has taught me so many things over the past 5 years- LOVE more than I could ever imagine, patience-which gets tested everyday, and TONS of laughter. He had a blast with all his friends and family that came. He thinks Batman is the coolest super hero of them all, so that is what he picked for his party. I have to admit that I am a little sad that he will never have another "cute" birthday party again like in the past: Trains, Monkeys, or Pirates. Lol. As long as our little man is happy- I should be too!!! Thanks so much to everyone who came to celebrate with us. He had a fabulous time!!!

LOVE Weekends!!!

T-ball games started back this week with one last night & we have one in the morning. Hudson is way more into t-ball this year than he was last year. We played two innings last night. Coach Randy had Hudson play pitcher the 1st inning and 1st base the 2nd inning. In saying this, he got the ball a lot. He had a meltdown for a second on the pitcher's mound because he got hit really hard in the chest by the ball. He got it together, to my surprise and did a good job. He has wanted to practice a lot lately. The other night, he had his Daddy out there for a good 45 minutes hitting and catching the ball. Think this may be his sport of choice over soccer, but only time will tell. He is already looking forward to his game tomorrow! We have a busy weekend with 2 birthday parties on Saturday, t-ball, attendance Sunday at our church, and an afternoon birthday party on Sunday. We had to miss my sister's surprise 40th birthday party tonight... So glad she had fun & I am very proud of her husband, Bo, for getting this together for her. I posted some pictures of my little man's t-ball game last night along with some from this last week. Hope you all (to the three people that read this) have a wonderful weekend!!!

Our Anniversary!!!

Today, Daniel and I celebrated our 7th wedding Anniversary. Man, 7 years went by really fast.... We did exactly what we wanted to do this weekend on our "free weekend". Normally we have birthday parties, t-ball games or we are out of town. We grilled with good friends, did yard work, Sunday School, Church (extended care), and stayed outside all weekend watching our kids play with neighborhood kids. I couldn't ask for anything more!!! We feel so blessed. God put us in Benton, LA right by a wonderful church family & great neighborhood friends. He also placed me at a job where I work with some awesome ladies and put Daniel at the VA, where he has a great work/family balanced life. So very thankful to our Lord & Savior! I was looking through our wedding album, which I normally do only once a year. Wanted to share one of our wedding pics & one of my sweet Daddy! I am so very thankful that he got to walk me down the aisle & see Hudson and Avery Claire, before he went to live with Jesus.
