The Count Down Is On....

Well, Hudson starts Legacy in only 2 1/2 weeks! He still has to test & go to open house to find out who his teacher is going to be next Sunday. I have had all of his school supplies for some time now. I just finished getting his uniforms last week & his backpack came in a few days ago. He is really getting excited now! He asks everyday, "How much longer till I go to Legacy"? I made the mistake of taking Hudson and Avery shopping at WalMart for school supplies. I wanted to take him to get him excited to pick out his stuff. I didn't really accomplish much with his excitement level at Wally World. He could have cared less after about 5 minutes & wanted to go home, but he LOVES his backpack. He picked it out & sleeps with it at night. Lol. I also included a few pictures of my baby girl. She had her very first trip to the dentist this week. She was GREAT! I left there a little devastated though.... She has the start of a cavity. Dr. Beach told me to go ahead & get it filled because her back teeth have such deep grooves and it could give her trouble later on. This shows that teeth are strictly genetic. She has always been my child that was so very cooperative when it comes to brushing her teeth. Hudson's teeth have been perfect so far & we had to hold his mouth open to brush his teeth for a few years when he was little.

School lists have sure changed since the good ole days....

Just wondering how he will use 17 fat glue sticks..... Lol

Such a Big Girl!!!

Avery, Avery, Avery....

Tonight when we were saying prayers, Hudson named at least 15 people and things that he was thankful for. When it was Avery's turn, we asked her what she was thankful for. Her reply- "Me... That's all". Daniel and I need to say EXTRA prayers every night about this one. Hand full doesn't even begin to describe her!!!

Out of Town Again!

We went to South LA last weekend to visit good friends in Baton Rouge on Saturday and spend the holiday with Daniel's parents in LaPlace. I couldn't get over how well ALL the kids played together in Baton Rouge. We were together all day until 9 pm at night. The kids did awesome! There were only two little girls and seven boys. The kids had the best time & I got tons of house ideas from Lori & Lucy. Hudson and Avery look so forward to going out of town to see Nana, Pepere, and Nanny! They loved being outside all weekend, since this is an activity that they truly miss being in our apartment. We try to go outside here, but it is just not the same as being in our backyard with all of our outside toys. I wanted to share these pictures, because Daniel somehow broke my camera in three pieces on Monday afternoon. It fell out of the back of the car & out of my camera bag. I don't know how long I can go without it.... My phone camera isn't going to cut it. It has only been one week without it & I am already going crazy!

Avery & Ryann were BFFs!

ALL of our BOYS, except one!!!

My Little Loverboy!

Ryleigh's picture of her & Hudson

Ava's picture of her & Hudson

We have always been one to teach our kids that we do NOT have boyfriends or girlfriends. I had to laugh at my little loverboy when I picked him up from school today. I went to get the stuff out of his cubby & his little precious friend, Ryleigh, showed me a picture that she colored for him today. She said "Hudson's Mommy, me and Hudson are going to get married and I drew a picture of us today". Then I see another picture that a new girl in his class, Ava, colored for him with a heart on it. When we got out in the hallway, he said "Mama, I don't know what to do... Bre, Ryleigh, and Ava all say that want to marry me. I just tell them all that I will marry them, so I don't hurt their feelings". I am amazed that they are talking about getting married at this age! I then gave Hudson a long lecture at Baskin Robbins about how we don't have girlfriends or get married until he is as old as Mama & Daddy. KIDS!!!!
