Well, Hudson starts Legacy in only 2 1/2 weeks! He still has to test & go to open house to find out who his teacher is going to be next Sunday. I have had all of his school supplies for some time now. I just finished getting his uniforms last week & his backpack came in a few days ago. He is really getting excited now! He asks everyday, "How much longer till I go to Legacy"? I made the mistake of taking Hudson and Avery shopping at WalMart for school supplies. I wanted to take him to get him excited to pick out his stuff. I didn't really accomplish much with his excitement level at Wally World. He could have cared less after about 5 minutes & wanted to go home, but he LOVES his backpack. He picked it out & sleeps with it at night. Lol. I also included a few pictures of my baby girl. She had her very first trip to the dentist this week. She was GREAT! I left there a little devastated though.... She has the start of a cavity. Dr. Beach told me to go ahead & get it filled because her back teeth have such deep grooves and it could give her trouble later on. This shows that teeth are strictly genetic. She has always been my child that was so very cooperative when it comes to brushing her teeth. Hudson's teeth have been perfect so far & we had to hold his mouth open to brush his teeth for a few years when he was little.

Avery, Avery, Avery....
Tonight when we were saying prayers, Hudson named at least 15 people and things that he was thankful for. When it was Avery's turn, we asked her what she was thankful for. Her reply- "Me... That's all". Daniel and I need to say EXTRA prayers every night about this one. Hand full doesn't even begin to describe her!!!

Out of Town Again!
We went to South LA last weekend to visit good friends in Baton Rouge on Saturday and spend the holiday with Daniel's parents in LaPlace. I couldn't get over how well ALL the kids played together in Baton Rouge. We were together all day until 9 pm at night. The kids did awesome! There were only two little girls and seven boys. The kids had the best time & I got tons of house ideas from Lori & Lucy. Hudson and Avery look so forward to going out of town to see Nana, Pepere, and Nanny! They loved being outside all weekend, since this is an activity that they truly miss being in our apartment. We try to go outside here, but it is just not the same as being in our backyard with all of our outside toys. I wanted to share these pictures, because Daniel somehow broke my camera in three pieces on Monday afternoon. It fell out of the back of the car & out of my camera bag. I don't know how long I can go without it.... My phone camera isn't going to cut it. It has only been one week without it & I am already going crazy!

My Little Loverboy!
We have always been one to teach our kids that we do NOT have boyfriends or girlfriends. I had to laugh at my little loverboy when I picked him up from school today. I went to get the stuff out of his cubby & his little precious friend, Ryleigh, showed me a picture that she colored for him today. She said "Hudson's Mommy, me and Hudson are going to get married and I drew a picture of us today". Then I see another picture that a new girl in his class, Ava, colored for him with a heart on it. When we got out in the hallway, he said "Mama, I don't know what to do... Bre, Ryleigh, and Ava all say that want to marry me. I just tell them all that I will marry them, so I don't hurt their feelings". I am amazed that they are talking about getting married at this age! I then gave Hudson a long lecture at Baskin Robbins about how we don't have girlfriends or get married until he is as old as Mama & Daddy. KIDS!!!!

Ready for the Holiday Weekend!
This is the first night this week that I haven't had to do work when I put my babies down, so I felt like posting some pics of my kiddos. The kids are excited about their Independence Day parties at school tomorrow. We are going to South LA to hang out with friends in Baton Rouge on Saturday & to spend time with Daniel's parents on Sunday and Monday. My little man lost his second tooth today at school. This was the other loose one that the dentist noticed a few months ago. I hope we are done for a while with loosing teeth! He was pumped to go to sleep tonight because he said that the tooth fairy was going to bring him $40. Lol. He has no idea about money. He better hope he gets $2 this time. I hope all of our family and friends have a wonderful 4th of July Weekend!!!

Weekend at Nanny's
We went to Arkansas last weekend to meet the newest member of our family! Baby Kypton got released from Arkansas Children's Hospital last week. He seems to be doing great. He is beautiful, but didn't love his Mimi this trip! Lol. Hoping he likes me better next time. He did like his Uncle Daniel long enough for me to take a picture or two. He is absolutely perfect! Big brother Connor is so proud of him. Avery is totally 100% obsessed with babies. She couldn't touch him after being in the NICU for a week, but she stared at him at dinner all night. We had a great weekend swimming with the fam. The only kiddos we were missing this trip were Bella & Ava. Hoping we get to swim with them on our next trip. Daniel and I have decided that this is going to be our vacation home this summer. Lol. To keep our sanity- we are going to have to get out of this apt as much as possible, so I see lots of trips to New Orleans & Arkansas in our future!!! When we got back from Arka, Hudson noticed that he had a very loose tooth. He played with it until it finally fell out. He was so excited about the Tooth Fairy! He went right to sleep, so she could come. He was very happy about his $3, but was MAD and upset that she took his tooth with her.

So Long Pebble Beach...
Well, we are officially no longer homeowners. We closed on our house on Monday of this week. We sold our house to some of our very best friends. I definitely got emotional our last day there, but the kids could have cared less. I just kept thinking about bringing our babies home to this house when they were born & all the memories that were made there. I am already missing my neighbors & our pool! Lol. I seriously think that we went swimming every single day for the last 16 days straight before we moved. Now we are starting a new chapter at the Landing Apartments in Bossier City. It is pretty small, but it is relatively clean. We have a playground right outside our door and we do have a pool here. Daniel and I are not loving life right now, but it will be fine. The kids are happy & that is all that matters. We met with our builder this afternoon & he said he should have our house ready by Halloween! I am already taking the kids to do extra activities in the afternoons, so I can keep them busy & out of the apt as much as possible. We do have some friends that just moved into the apartment. They have a little boy that is in Hudson's class & a new baby that Avery adores. We have already gotten together to play this week. I know Hudson & Avery already miss Annabelle, Violet, Lainey & Lexy in our old neighborhood, so I am thrilled that they have a few friends to play with here!
Hudson Ryan before Church
sleep in the same bed. They were snuggled up all sweet, but by the time I got my
camera this is how I found them.
