Another Avery Story...

Avery Claire had a Thanksgiving Feast at her school this week. She was so excited to have Daniel and I there! Below is a picture of us at lunch. Later that afternoon, I had to take Hudson to the dentist for his 6 month cleaning. Avery had to come with us because Daniel wasn't off work yet. Our precious Dental Hygienist was talking to Hudson asking him if he bit his fingernails, which is a horrible habit that I am sad to say that I passed on to my kids. Candi was explaining to Hudson how biting your fingernails wears your teeth down, etc- when Avery blurts out "I BITE MY FINGERNAILS & PICK MY NOSE"!!! When you have kids, there is no such thing as pride. Well, at least she is honest.

DRESS UP!!!

It is so funny to watch your children go through phases of different things. Hudson's most favorite thing in the world to do RIGHT NOW is play football with Daddy. They go outside everyday to play football- "LSU vs Alabama". Just a few weeks ago, it was soccer. Avery has been on a baby kick for over a year now. Everywhere we go, a baby doll has to go with us. Her most recent obsession is playing dress up. This child runs in every single day, throws her clothes on the ground & goes for her dress up box. I just wanted to share a few pictures from the last few days. And yes... we are still APT living. Can't you tell by the mess everywhere? I am really going to miss not having to keep things straightened up!!!

Crazy Fall!

This has been such a busy time of year! I decided to catch up on pictures tonight. Hudson's Rodeo Day, Pumpkin Patch, Trick or Treating, Carving Pumpkins, Avery's Western Day, taking Christmas pictures, end of the year soccer party AND getting ready to move.

Proud Mama!!!

I am so proud of my little man. Hudson just finished his first nine weeks at Legacy & he is doing great! I was so worried about how he would do at kindergarten, because of his maturity level. He received the Terrific Kid Award the first nine weeks from Mrs. Ward, along with a Ribbon for knowing all his sight words and having perfect attendance. He also got all S's on his first Report Card!!! He is loving school & Mrs. Ward!!! I am amazed at what he is learning. I am so very thankful that he has made friends and is happy!!! Yet another reason to give thanks to our Lord.

Fall Soccer & Dance

I was just going through some recent pics of our kiddos dance & soccer games and wanted to share! They are both loving their only activity that we let them do this fall. We let them pick & that is what we ended up with. Hudson is hard core lately about soccer. He wants to practice every single night & Daniel is loving life! He scored 8 goals last Saturday at the game!!! Avery is also having a blast with dance. I still haven't quite figured out if it is the piece of gum that they give her at the end of class or the dance part. These are a few pictures from our last Dance Watch Day. Another day after Dance

Bring on Fall!!!

Hudson had his first soccer game of the season today. We switched leagues this year because of how big our team was last year. Daniel is coaching again, but in Cabosa- there are only 6 kids on a team! Our team has 5 boys & one girl. Daniel wanted to try this league hoping that the children could learn more. Hudson was so proud of himself today! Last year, he scored only one goal all year long & he scored 3 in his first game today. He gets the concept of soccer a lot more this year. We are looking forward to a fun soccer season! Lately, all my posts have been about Hudson, so I also attached a picture of Avery Claire before dance watch day. The parents can only watch the kids dance once a month. I really didn't know what to expect, but she did really well. She had the biggest smile on her face throughout the entire routine & knew the whole thing. Cracked me up because she ate up all the attention! Only two more months to go on our house & we can get out of our tiny apartment. I have to count my blessings in here though. I spend more time with the kids & Daniel because I NEVER clean! Lol.

Hudson & his friend, Bre, from Preschool. I am so very glad that they are getting to play soccer together because they are now at different elementary schools. They were so cute today. I caught them hugging several times today at the game.
